BTW, there's a wavedriver, but you don't need it, if you only record and playback through PTLE.

yes I'm happy with it. But I cannot compare with real studio monitors, 'cause I never had one. The MA-10D have a very good price, I paid 185 Euro for both.

I bought the Edirol MA-10D (digital stereo micro monitors, coaxial and optical digital input, upto 24bit/96kHz). I use it with my new mbox's digital out.

Did you enable s/pdif mirroring in hardware setup? If I don't do this I get the static hiss on the left channel (digital I/O), too. BTW, my card works fine with the old chip.
