Interface audio garbled

I use a UAD Apollo Twin and PT 2020. Lately, after getting a CPU error, playback is normal but after the next CPU error, audio is garbled and I have to restart pro tools. Any suggestions?

Hello. I’m having the exact thing happen but with a handful of tracks and 1 VI. My system meter is going crazy while the session isn’t even playing. Previous version was more stable .

Apple won't provide me with the file since the release of High Sierra. Current version of PT requires 10.12.6. Can someone please help?

I find it very telling that Slate Digital can produce a control surface that controls virtually every popular DAW while AVID can't (or won't) provide a cheesy little driver for the Control 24 past PT...

That's exactly what they've done in PT 11, Bob. They crippled them "in software" by omitting the drivers.

No more Avid controllers for me. My Control 24 works just fine with PT 10 and if I ever decided to go any further with Pro Tools, I'll look elsewhere for a control surface. Whoever buys one of these...

Yeah, I was just looking at the Slate Raven. Although I'm not sure how it would be to work on a touchscreen, it works with a number of DAWs and it's being advertised at around $2500.00

In my opinion, a C24 is not an upgrade from a Control 24 either. I wouldn't trade my Control 24 even for one.
