Hiding tracks

Hi
I have been using Cubase for a number of years and am new to Protools.

Is there a way to hide tracks in the edit window but still see them in the mixing window?

Spoke to Yamaha support who said it must be something to do with Protools. I had Protools support remotely logged on for over an hour but they could not get it to work and said it is definitely...

I am using Pro Tools 12.2
I have a Yamaha PSR-S950 which will not play in Pro Tools. It plays fine in Cubase, Music Creator, EZ Keys etc.
In setup Midi- Input Devices it is shown as Digital...
