I appreciate you saying that "people who know" have said there are no more updates for PT11.x. But it's Avid's responsibility to come out in public and state clearly what is and what's not....

I've had very good luck with OWC Mercury Elite Pro external drives. I use one for my Pro Tools drive and another for Time Machine. They're Pro Tools certified, and very quiet.
