Pro Tools 5.3.3: Anyway to upgrade?

Hey, I have an Mbox that i haven't used in years. All i can seem to get for it is Pro Tools 5.3.3. IS there anyway to upgrade to 6.x versions for free? Thanks

Transfering sessions

I've come to infer that's it's not possible to transfer sessions from one system to another, more specifially, from an MBox to an 001 system? Would I be correct in my thinking?

System sounds & MBox

Is it possible to run my sound from my computer, (system sounds, mp3's, and other various audio) through the MBox, eliminating the need for several modes of listening?

Should I be able to plug a bass or guitar directly into the mbox and get sound? If so, how do I go about doing that? I plugged it directly in, but I got no sound.
