Thanks Jimmy. I'm at my wits end with this thing...it's giving me a headache. Unhappy MBOX user here. I'm not using protools, I'm attempting to use it with REW in order to measure some gear...

Thanks James. It's the normal MBOX3...not the mini or the pro.

I'm not sure how to decipher what my monitoring is. There's no option per say called monitoring in the control setup? In my control...

I'm trying to measure some equipment with a freq sweep, but I'm having problems with feedback on the mbox 3. Can someone tell how to shut off monitoring with this unit so I can use the loopback...

Hi. Thanks for your response...and i appreciate it. Do you mean the TRS jack bypasses one gain stage(mbox mic pre)?

Can you elaborate on how you know this? It ain't in the manual.

I'm using an external API preamp with my MBOX 3(3rd gen). It's not the PRO or the MINI; it's the normal MBOX3.

I don't want my API pre running through the MBOX pre; it kinda defeats the purpose....
