I have also noticed that in Avid S3 when you press a button (A-B-C-D-E-F) to recall a layout, the led doesn't stay lit.
And they haven't solved the similar problem for fader-knob swap (FLIP).

About clipping> as you see, X-Form provide a GAIN to solve the problem. It will be better a LIMITER!
Sound Shifter by Waves (only stereo or mono, not 5.1) don't provide gain... and CLIP.
