Re: How to determine correct level of Wave form?

^^this, and levels can safely be much lower, because 24bit WAV has 144dB dynamics so even if you used 120dB of it you would still have 24dB headroom. Whatever sounds good when you mix is good. Better...

Re: How to determine correct level of Wave form?

Re: When to let it go????

Beat me to it

Sometimes (if you have the time and are a bit bored) it is also good to do this in purpose. Just take an old song and mix it again from the scratch. Notice yow your skills...

Re: When to let it go????

Trust what he says.

Even if you had "infinite" time available and wanted to do your best, your ears get biased when you listen to the material long period of time. You are always hunging something...

Re: How to determine correct level of Wave form?

Have you considered using the K-14 meter for master? It may be better suited for you.

Re: 16" MBP - Anyone Get One yet?

As I said, it is at least very rare if even ever happened that Apple backports drivers to older OS after new hardware has been released. So these 16" laptops and new Cheesegraters are likely only...

Re: AAX (Dsp) & AAX Native (Daw Cpu) ?

Obviously AAX32 only affects PT10 which is already old enough; but yes, if you are using PT10 then you should be extra careful and ask the developer directly if their plugin works in PT10 or not.

Re: Pro Tools 2019.10 Discussion

I don't use Windows, but have heard the next update should be right around the corner. So if I was (even thinking of) using Windows I would wait until that is out.

Re: Perpetual License and Updates after Canceling

You can use whatever versions were available to you at the date when your Support Plan was current. Anything released later than that will not show in your account nor will not launch if you try.
