Are your meters showing red?

How high you can pull your fader up depends on how hot your incoming signal is.

If its really loud you may not be able to...

I think your right on.

When you open PT see what the pop up windows say (i.e. digitranslator) and find it in the folder Tuur mentioned and delete it. That way you can verify that...

You just need to flip the Phase of ONE channel of the stereo file.

Since most stereo recordings have the vocals dead center when one channel is inverted (left or right does not matter) the vocals...
