What type of flooring do you have where the D-Command is located? I had laminate wood flooring on concrete and it caused the same issues you are describing. I would have to stand up and be barefoot...

That was the problem! I went ahead and traded in my CPTK for PT11HD and it is now working with the D-Command.

Just in case someone else runs into this problem in the future...

Yep I've turned it off several times.

I did reset it back to the default firmware one time yesterday by the method you described. I went into PT 11 and still got nothing... I went into PT 10...

Thanks for the suggestion. I am using a MacBook Pro that has only one Ethernet port.

I think I am going to try installing PT 11 on another computer temporarily just to see if that gets it to...

What you are saying here does not make any sense. In the Avid store the price for Pro Tools 11 HD Upgrade From PT 9/10 + CPTK varies from $599 to $999 depending on what PT version you have...

Academic upgrade. As Bruce said there are different ways to upgrade to PT11 at varying costs.

If you have HD core card and accel cards in the computer you are using and you do not have an interface connected to any of the cards PTHD 9 will give an error on startup stating that it cannot find...
