Well the files are in the AVID folder on my mac. users/(name)/library/logs/AVID after I delete thes files I get back my memory.

Yes this is where it was located on my mac. I located the file through OMNIDISKSWEEPER.

Thank you musicman691, I did that and will see how it goes. I am hoping it is not some kind of trojan, lol. I also went through the optimizations just in case I missed anything for 11.1.3.

users/(name)/library/logs/AVID is eating up my main hard drive memory. I use external drives for backups and timemachine. Mac is saying startup disk is almost full. Any Ideas?

YEs Prject mix does work with firewire. I didn't have any problems until I hooked up shortcut keyboard. Thing totally disengaged the use of my controls through Projectmix.

I purchased a digidesign shortcut key board and I now seem to have lost control of my Projectmix i/o. I get sound but no automation. Short cuts work great.

nMP is working like a charm. Getting alot of power to process and able to work without troubleshooting or crashes. Though the unit was pricey, I see it as a solid investment.

Pardon I might have stated that incorrectly. It was called Disable Desktop Composition. Pops and clicks have haunted my windows machine for the longest.
