All good now.

Turns out I needed to run this command to allow the driver to load, in the case where System Prefs does not prompt a permission allow.

sudo kextload...

Success!
After running this command, it is all working now.

sudo kextload /Library/Extensions/DigiDal.kext

So if you're in a managed environment like a school, you'll need to run it...

Yes I’ve got admin privs and can execute sudo commands.

When you Unlocked after install, do you recall the name of the item you unlocked in Privacy?

Well, I've just reinstalled OS, ProTools Ultimate, the HD Driver, all on a fresh Admin account.

Also, I ordered and tried a new HDN TB Box and a new DigiLink cable.

Still not seeing the OMNI,...

Still no luck. I’ve ordered a new digilink cable, even though SysProfiler sees the omni under TB, and the little red led is on the avid TB box.

Will post back when I get to try the new cable.

Hmm, I've added all files/apps from Avid into the whitelist for SysPrefs > Security > General > Privacy and still don't see the HDN OMNI appear in Audio Midi setup or Pro Tools.

Swapped digilink...

Ok, thanks - makes sense about the traffic.

I'm using DVS, as that's all that appears in Pro Tools' Playback Engine dialog.

I'm used to (before we got the MTRXst) seeing HD Native Thunderbolt...

The MTRX is sending WC out to the OMNI’s WC in; OMNI shows EXT lit on front panel.

I thought the MTRX was the Primary, as it’s called Grand Master clock in Dante...

Hi,

I’m running the MTRXst with OMNI HDN thru DVS.
I’m getting random crackling on playback only - not on record.
Scrubbing through the clip, or playing back, the crackling is random in location...

OK, I was on 5.4.2.1 now on latest 5.4.4.2.
I was on 1.0,0,1 firmware, now on 1.0,3.2.

Immediately I see the mic from the MTRXst rear panel deflecting!
No DA metering yet, but one step closer!
