I’m more video than music guy, so don’t record or anything, but I’ve always used voicemeter instead of asio4all. I find it much better. Don’t know if it will help your issue but may be worth looking...

Just to add to this, voicemeter instead of asio4all has always worked for me on pc to allow both protools and windows sounds at the same time.

Most stable version for video post production

Hi,

Trying to find the most stable versions of pro tools for video post production. What’s the consensus?

I don’t have any hardware other than an artist mix.

Using voicemeter should allow both to work at the same time.

On the subject of Asio4all, I find voicemeter much better. It allows other sounds to play whilst using pro tools. Never given me a problem.
