Thank you, that's good to know. It's not too bad having to do it each when I log in to my Pro Tools user.

Does hyperthreading work well with the latest Macs or is it still a recommendation to turn...

Pro Tools 11 Crash

Unable to launch Pro Tools 11.
Crashes before it even gets through the loading plugins screen...
Usually when it gets to the "Trim" plugin, which I don't think I have even used.

Hi Craig,

Thank you for your reply.

The iMac has a 6750M 512MB. According to Apple it can power one external 2560x1440 resolution display, so I assume this should be fine.

I'm not sure why either. I was surprised you can't have separate Spotlight settings for individual users.

I think I've already disabled it for the session drive, but I'll double check.

I see. Ah yes, then I mean the audio/session drive. The session drive has some storage on it and samples, so he's looking at re-installing the VIs he has on that drive onto...
