Re: Clip Gain Issue

No. They aren't locked, muted, inactive or any other possibility. It just looks like PT9, with no fader at the bottom of the clip.

Re: Clip Gain Issue

Have downloaded and installed PT10.2

I can now confirm that clip gain is in fact off even when I start a new session.

Re: Clip Gain Issue

Yes. That's usually my first instinct when experiencing issues. It's helped me through a lot of problems over the years. One thing that may be obvious, is my problem isn't a global issue. Not all my...

Re: Clip Gain Issue

Thanks. That's not exactly my problem. Pro Tools does create PTX files for any older format files for me. All the files in question are definitely PTX files. Some of them were (PT10) PTX files...

Clip Gain Issue

I've been having an issue of sessions I am receiving from Pro Tools 8-10 where clip gain isn't available. Basically, unless I create the session in one of my computers, clip gain is inactive. In...

Re: ProTools will not recognize my 003

Same here, MacBook Pro on Lion. Makes it unusable. Annoying. I'm just using core audio.

Re: Problems with crackling / static when recording (Windows 7) Mbox2

My advice is to make sure you don't have a bunch of PCI Cards installed. Try disabling network cards, on-board sound card, graphics cards in the device manager. If that still does nothing, then get...

Re: Snow Leopard 10.5.8 with HD Native / Tools 9.0.3

I am using an Omni, and updating to 9.0.4 fixed my problem, so in my case there was definitely a benefit. Probably because it forced my card to update firmware

Re: Snow Leopard 10.5.8 with HD Native / Tools 9.0.3

I gotcha. Well, after doing all I said I was doing and installing 9.0.4, it works. I did get a message when first running 9.0.4 about updating the card firmware, and I used digitest to update the...

Re: Snow Leopard 10.5.8 with HD Native / Tools 9.0.3

I can confirm that HD Omni and 10.6.8 do not work together at the moment.

Took me all morning to figure out it was the software, because the warnings were hardware related. Omni LED stayed...

Re: Problems with crackling / static when recording (Windows 7) Mbox2

Well, the box says M Audio, which is owned by Avid (formerly Digi). Originally these cards were used for M Powered versions of Pro Tools until 9. Thats one of the reasons I got it. I really just...

Re: Problems with crackling / static when recording (Windows 7) Mbox2

I got the M Audio Audiophile 192 today. Installed the latest drivers, which were released a couple days ago, turned off the computer, plugged in the card, then plugged in my Apogee's S/pdif to the in...

Re: Problems with crackling / static when recording (Windows 7) Mbox2

To be honest, I have to do that about every 6 months to once a year anyway with my daw's. It's been inevitable for me over the years. Looks like I'm just due another re-install. The crazy part is, I...

Re: Problems with crackling / static when recording (Windows 7) Mbox2

I just wanted to add my 2 cents, as I have had the same problem, since November. I know that 64-bit wasn't supported in Vista for PT8. Is it possible the drivers just aren't quite right for the Mbox...

Re: Pro Tools RTAS Plugins - Folder Names

That's too bad. It would be cool. I actually do use the shift shortcut for favorite plugins. Looks like my only option is to use the "organize plugins menus by" function in setup. Thanks

BTW, on a...

Re: Pro Tools RTAS Plugins - Folder Names

How would I do it? I've always used the catalogs for a different application.

Also, is it possible to move plugins from one folder to another? A few of my plugins show up in "Other", and I would...

Pro Tools RTAS Plugins - Folder Names

Is it possible to change the plugin folder names in pro tools, or create you own? Has anybody ever done it?

I just think it would be so useful if, for example, I could make a folder called...

Re: Pro Tools Won't Launch - IE8 not installed

Re: Pro Tools Won't Launch - IE8 not installed

I know. Seems weird right? I've never had a program that wouldn't open. Especially after re-installation. Even more so after I tried the same thing on PT 7.4

I use Avastor drives for all my...

Re: Pro Tools Won't Launch - IE8 not installed

Yeah. This is a first time problem with this machine. The install a couple months ago was a re-installation. I have had PT on this computer for about a year and a half since I bought it with no...
