I'm learning Reaper to Rewire it inside of PT, but why do I HAVE TO do this, just to boost my PT ?

Re: Moving to Reaper?

Since Reaper doesn't have a wave editor (as far as I know so far), why are we moving to Reaper instead of just moving to Cubase ?

ADC, wave editor, 64 bit, any interface... sounds like a...

Re: Open Reaper 64 in PT. Possible ?

I did that before posting, but couldn't find anything: I get a lot of results on nothing (not even close to what I'm looking for)...

I tried reaper, reaper 64, open reaper 64 bit in PT... I get a...

I've just built a kick ass system, w/ 12 GB ram and everything.

Re: Reaper in PT8: Rewire Slave Error

Inserting Reaper in the first Instrument Track available keeps working for me, with Axiom Pro installed.

Then I can move this track wherever I want: it's just to open Reaper that it has to be...

Re: Reaper in PT8: Rewire Slave Error

Hmmmm, I think I may have seen a little tiny light: Reaper is working, AS LONG AS IT IS THE FIRST TRACK IN MY SESSION.

If I insert it second in the line, it crashes and I have to RESTART PROTOOLS...

I didn't install...

Re: Reaper in PT8: Rewire Slave Error

Ok, then I won't try every version back to 2.5.
