Hey musicsup,

I use an 002-R. In this sessions I mentioned, I have at least two instances of amplitube (non optimized) and DKFH Superior, which are heavy duty virtual instruments, so go figure...

I just can't believe how much more efficient PTLE 7 is.

I can assure you that I was working on 3 different sessions, pretty good stuff: +- 20 channels and at least 18 plugins including DKFH...

I must say this upgrade turned into a good deal. 2 plugins for $24 and an ilok for $30 with Free shipping. Pretty schweet. No complaints. Those will come later, hehehe.

DKFHS has a 16 bit mode which will allow you to load a 5 pc kit with all AMB mics turned on as well as all OH's in about 500MB o Ram.

Additionally the TPC compression mode will allow...

I was having problems with PT interruptions and I reformatted my machine, hooked up the drives to the Promise controller and BAM! worked like a charm.

Socket 754 and 939 are all fine. Try to get a 939 because you can use it with a Dual Core X2 chip in the future (or now if you get one!) with a simple Bios update.

Well I was never able to have dfhs work by itself. You see, the host application should be able to support rewire, and Pro Tools by default doesn't fully (excuse my ignorance in technical terms...

Have you downloaded and installed the latest versions of drummer and rewire? What about the soundstats, is it updated?

Remember, install Reason so that it opens up the rewire "channels"...
