I record 24bit then bounce to 16bit. Is it a good idea to put a dither as well on the master fader when bouncing ????

ok ..here's what I did in case anyone needs the info

1) using slip mode I made a loop.
2) Brought the loop to the begining of the ruler.
3) Used identify beat and found the tempo and placed back...

Old Recording

I recorded an old record onto cd and imported into a protools session. There are lots of pops and scratches. Does anyone know of a way to minimize the extra noise ?

thanks for listening. The drums are a machine boss 770 on feed the dog. the other 2 songs have 3 mics on the kit and some loops. Feed the Dog was an experiment that I just got tired of trying to fix....
