OK, new thread it is.
So... I will probably upgrade to 11, but here's the thing: I would like to stay with my current MOTU 24 I/O and therefore will not be using HD. So that limits my options.

OK so after reading this thread - and having been using MOV files up to now - I decided to try the MPEG format. I used Streamclip to rip a video recorded 7 years ago from a DVD and save as an MPEG....

Using DINR to Remove Room Ambience?

I have a spoken voice track, recorded in an awful room with nasty reverb and ambience. Plug in ideas anyone? Can I use DINR? Recommended settings? The room sound is unbearable!

I have read some of the threads regarding issues with PT crashing when sample rates are changed. There seem to be many issues. I get that.

I cannot seem to find a seamless way to close one...

Normally I do not use the Pro Tools MP3 converter in Bounce To Disk, but today I needed some quick and dirty dubs. It's a music session 48kHz. In the converter I specify 44.1, but the vocalist still...

I have a VO recorded at 44.1kHz and music recorded at 96kHz which I need to comine into one file and mix. Is it better to up the VO or down the music?

FIXED: Changed the interface to use internal clock. That fixed the problem, although I'm not sure WTF the problem was. Then I changed it back to use the external clock from the BLA. Again, no...

Seems to occur right at the point of loading DAE.
I have already trashed prefs.
