Uhm, I don't know, is the answer, but just in case it's an easy to overlook thing, make sure your tempo map is the same. I've certainly done this to myself importing audio or session data.

Fwiw, you can get crazy with multiple instruments routed through one instance of Kontakt, just like you can with Reason. Output bussing is a bitch though, at times. NI stuff is annoying like that....

hmm... no idea why mine lags then, other than perhaps it's because I have to connect the sources to my laptop as I use them rather than having dedicated connections as I would with a tower.
