Problem with software licenses when buying used consoles?

If we buy second hand Profiles or SC48's, and the seller doesn't have the info for the original ILOK accounts, what issues will we encounter?

As I understand it the console should function fine,...

Which version neutered M1 machines?

I didn’t have the expected horse power in PT on my M1 MacBook, then someone suggested I roll back to 2021.3 and WOAH! I have easily 50-100% more horsepower with that version!

Delete all the Facebook 360 plugs from your plugins folder. That’s what the issue was for me.

The 003 didn't work out. I got Mojave to recognize it but PT 2019 just won't play well with it. Very unstable. Soon as I touch the scrub wheel the whole machine freezes.

Another update:

Well, it looks like PT 2019 isn't going to play well with the ole' 003. I had a few VI's behaved very oddly in one session, occasionally the 003's faders wouldn't follow the faders...

After some time of working at it, I got the 003 drivers to recognize my 003 and it's working in PT 2019.5 in Mojave but with some stability issues. I'm going to keep working with it and...

I never liked the Command 8 for some reason. I didn't spend much time with it though. The look of the thing always turned me off for some reason and I hated the fader caps. How has it treated you...

PT12 Subscription still include PT10 and 11 licenses?

If you guy a one year PT12 subscription plan do you still get the licenses for PT 10 and 11 like you do when you buy the "perpetual license"?

Windows 7 SP1 and all updates. Fresh install.
2012 mac mini i5 w/8GB ram, HD4k graphics.
Midas f32 via firewire using "legacy" driver....

Yea the Midas is the playback engine. Ive found a workaround by setting the windows playback and recording preferences to 24/48 and since I have no reason to record at anything other than 24/48 so...

No no the chipset in the Midas is Dice. Same as Presonus and Focusrite and others. The chipset on my FireWire cards in the PC is TI. And no there's only one driver on the Midas side.
