I must have a later version. The first time I bounced to MP3 I received a warning message stating I had 30 days to use this function. After that I had the option to purchase a converter.

Same here. I'm mostly "winging it" and learning as I go. My printer is screwed up right now so I can't even print out the *PDF manual.
