Feeling a bit stupid...just had to upgrade a capture computer for a digico sd9 (live sound console) and I record into pt9 over a madi box. Read the workaround on avid's site saying to bypass...

I'll agree with the other guys...even an MBox is pretty much overkill for what you are wanting to do. I've used the Edirol R09s with great result for similar things. They fit in your pocket, can...

I've just raw recorded 12 tracks into a 001 with 2 Digimax Lts. I then took the files and opened them on my MBox Mini only to hear that it is in time and in tune with itself, but is higher pitched...

I'll find out exactly what chipset it is...I don't have it with me right now. I have tried recording straight to the system drive and to a USB external. Same buffer problems. The microsoft drivers...

I think you and I should become good friends. I have the exact same computer as you do and am having very similar issues. I thought that my buffer errors might be coming from the firewire bus...
