Re: anyone with macbook pro i7 w protools 8??

I posted this and got no responses, but you should be aware that the i7 mobile processor for the macbook pro has only 2 cores. The desktop processors are quad cores.

Re: Air the AIR plugin specials worth it?

Does TL space have a good quality sound? I only ask because the AIR reverbs are horrendous as are the digiverbs. I am looking for a good plate and a good spring would be a bonus.

Re: does PT LE 8 utilizes all 8 core of the new "nehalem" mac pro efficiently ?

Just to let you know. I think that it's the next OS update for Mac is written so that it will use all eight cores regardless of how the program that you are using is written. So I guess that I would...

Re: Mac Pro (2009) Quad or 8 Core?

I believe that the new update of leopard is written so that the computer will use multiple cores REGARDLESS of the whether or not the program is written for it. That update may not be out yet but if...

Re: Which is better? (New) MacBook Pro 15 inch or 17 inch

Just to echo what he said, you can also get an express card and track to an E-SATA drive (which I do) and that's way better than daisy chaining.
