Hi,

I'm having the same issue on PT 11.2.1 on Mac OSX 10.8.5

Peak clip LED shows up on MIX window track, but not on EDIT window.

Really messes me up...is there a fix/solution?

Hey Boo...
I have a dual boot setup with an 001 on XP SP1 (LE 6.4) and a Fast Track Pro on XP SP2 (M-Powered 8.0.1).

The 001 runs rock solid, but I stuck with SP1 and didn't update anything...

In the past M-Powered came pre-authorized with an iLok key...so I don't see why that would change.

As for getting firewire into your system, I'd strongly suggest getting this card...

Just a thought...
If you haven't already, make sure that you have the MPT for 7.3
There is a version out there for 7.1 and if you're not using the right one...it might give you grief.

The results are in:

Running PTLE 6.4cs9 on DIGI001 at 1024 buffer and 99% CPU (all four cores active, but 6.4 only uses one):

77 DVERBS - No UAD-1.
or
59 DVERBS plus 70 Cambridge EQs on 2...

I've been using m-audio's USB Transit with M-POWERED for quite a while now and it's great!
I paid 75$ for it and got M-POWERED for about 250$. And it all fits in my jean pocket.

After speaking with UA, it's something to do with the UAD-1 software, the FXPansion wrapper and the 4 cores' CACHE.
I have to reset the cores and the UAD-1 in 7.3.1cs5 or else I keep getting the...

Alas...the holy grail!

So everything was going fine with my new setup...apart from the excessive PCI/CPU bandwidth the UAD-1 cards were chewing up until...I disabled and then re-enabled the cards...

It was the UAD-1 cards.

Without them, my CPU meter barely makes it to the quarter mark with the headroom marker barely moving.
However, with the UAD-1 on, the cpu meter goes up over half...

You'd have to copy them from your old plugins folder from version 6, but sometimes they just don't work.
