I've definitely experienced this, but haven't taken the time as you have to sort out more specifics. Would love to see this fixed, but have just resorted to putting the start time in the file name....

This is expected. If you are in automation read, by definition you are not writing/recording any automation - so there is nothing to coaslesce.

You need to think of the total audio path - not each channel in isolation.

eg: In your second example where you feel the display is wrong (which it is not)

Audio 2 has a plugin which delays it...

Subscription - it can take a while to get approved, but it's because they are careful about keeping a good balance between the amount of subscription providers and actual work available.
