Re: ProTools price adjustments from July 1st.

Thanks Rob - I now see that it is displayed normally in the licensing thread. I was looking at it in the ‘Pro Tools 2019’ forum which is evidently where it was moved FROM as opposed to moved TO. It...

Re: ProTools price adjustments from July 1st.

Re: ProTools price adjustments from July 1st.

Not sure if this has been asked/addressed already but why is it that whenever I return to DUC and look to check on this thread (as well as two others regarding new pricing, subscription polices,...

Re: ProTools price adjustments from July 1st.

This feels like a case of deja vu - didn’t we do this already a few years ago?!

One has to assume that Avid know who their customers are and the obvious focus on perpetual vanilla users (by far...

Re: Anyone tried external SSD for Pro Tools sessions?

Cloud storage options (such as Backblaze) are now so much more accessible due to low prices and faster upload bandwidth e.g. with fibre broadband.

If you have specific types of data you want...

Re: RX Elements Upgrade

FWIW and in case it helps, I already had RX6 Elements prior to the Avid freebie so have logged-in to my Izotope account to check upgrade pricing:

* RX7 Standard $199 down from $269
* RX7 Advanced...

This was happening to me when posting recently on an iPad ... on which I’m making this post having arrived at DUC already logged-in, suggesting it’s OK today?!

Edit - post went through fine...

Re: What is up with AIR these days?

Just received a marketing e-mail from Air Music Technology and this reminded me that I had contacted them a few weeks ago ... yet still no reply.

As I mentioned before, this is consistent with...

Re: ProTools with wireless headphones + Bluetooth codecs

Not sure what version of MacOS hillofbeans is on but could try Soundflower which is the open source tool that I believe Rogue Amoeba had taken over support for and now incorporate in products like...

After that, you could start to update your software and, once...
