I didn't keep posting screen shots of pro tools cause Once I figured out the issue wasn't just unique to pro tools daw I stopped focusing on just that DAW and opened my mind to consider its possibly...

I'll try it on another computer as suggested. Just in case. I should note. With our friends mbox we didn't have to set i/o settings....I didn't have to touch any settings in pro tools, fruity...

By the end of troubleshooting the mbox mini gain knob for mic input had no signal unless turned all the way hard right....normally that's clipping. Also input 2 did record.... But barely. even...

So. We figured it out. Had a friend bring his mbox 2 over. We installed the drivers for it and hooked all my existing cables and mic up and it worked fine. The mbox 3 mini was the culprit. Thank...

My mic I assume is fine... only because I can turn the gain on mbox up, mix knob all the way left and speak into the microphone I can hear myself loud and clear in the monitors. No Daw open at all.

Yes that was the thing I could hear it without anything open through the monitors. The problem is the actual capturing of the sound in daw

where can I find mbox mixer...?

I don't have hermit to 24.
Only 64, 128, 256,512 well scratch that all of those have sinc at the end of them the 6 point is the only one with hermit

I'm new to this. The same setup has worked for two years with no problems. Only thing is we went from a m-audio bundled mic and monitors to an used akg microphone from the pawn shop and krk rokit 5's...
