I found out that my Firewire 400 drive is not a Oxford 911 chipset (or better)..

It is a Prolific PL3507 Combo Device (http://www.prolific.com.tw/eng/Products.asp?ID=9).

Therefore, it doesn't...

yeah, i have the combo update..

the only thing that I can think of is that I need to check my firewire drive to see if it's the "Oxford 911 chipset interface"..

I'm not really sure how to find...

I am using an external Firewire Drive (400), although I don't think it is on the list of compatible drives.

If this is indeed my problem, I will be willing to drop the $$...
