Update: I tried searching with the Finder and the same thing happened: this is a Mac thing (I'm 10.15.7) not a PT thing.

Ditto here. Much though I'm a tad cheesed off that it is rude, I'm also extremely relieved it's not just me!

My current workaround is to set the grid and nudge to crotchets, find a dead-on OO bar...

OK - you want something weird?

Put audio in as varispeed elastic. Dragged the end of the take - around 13 minutes - to match the camera audio. Got it spot on.

The start, however, still heads...

Like I said, the camreras are all 25. The PT session I was sent says 30 - how do I sort that or verify it's not 30. I tried the stretching and it tied in at the end, but splayed out...

Many thanks - I think that's going to have to be the route. Hopefully it won't sound too odd. each recording was around 15 minutes, so at least they're back in sync with a new recording, so I'm not...

Indeed as regards bit rate - straw clutching going on.
Cameras 25fps, PT session 30fps
Frame rate was agreed in advance. Not sure why it was recorded at 30.

FWIW, the cameras were at 48KHz 24-bit, and the audio is 32-bit floating, apparently.

Any thoughts?

Now I've got to figure out why PT doesn't recognise the EUControl surfaces unless I restart EuControl! I suspect a bug...

This is a new one to me - I've just opened an exported session from an editor - when I select a track, a floating fader appears.

If I select via the desk, no faders.

It's a security setting to stop unpleasant downloads getting into the root system. It's only been around since 10.11

It is advised that it is left alone, but it is a workaround for the AVB...

As a heads up: Avid Support got back to me with a solution: the fault/issue seems to lie in Apple's security system.

Disabling the SIP did the trick. I never download anything from unknown sources...

The firmware is 1.2.0.131 and the message I get is that I have the latest firmware and the S3 cannot be updated.
EUControl is the lates - an was updated a couple...
