Hi Skylar. I was just having the same problem. I made a new file with just one instrument, Ivory, and it was fine. Then I remembered that Steven Slate ANA 2 will cause this to happen if it's running....

2019.10 wait for note bug

In 2019.10 HD, with wait for note on, you press record and it waits for the note. If you don't play a note in 3 seconds, it goes out of record. very annoying.

I'm working with Reaper and unfortunately the 64 bit version doesn't work as a ReWire slave so I'm still getting problems. Better than PT alone, though....

Difficult to reduce the instances of VI that I used, since I had 1 open. As far as I can tell, it's not a RAM issue. There is now 16GB of RAM available in PT10 when there used to be only 8 in PT9. ...

According to Avid, Kontakt 5 is not compatible with PT10. 4.2.3 is the last compatible version.
