I have all these MIDI loops you get from here and there and the first time I tried to preview one in Pro Tools (12.8) I had the same issue. I found this work around; it's kinda clumsy buy it works....

Yes, it (VIP) runs as an AAX, but does it allow me to use my AAX plugins with it and the Advance? Will it "map" them? I haven't been able to get a straight answer anywhere about this....

Hey Weed: I'll try that. I have balanced & unbalance input on my monitors, I'll run a cable to the monitors from the computer and reset the computer sound device to its own.

I have the same problems. My MBOX 3 driver causes me to get a Blue Screen of Death way too often. Not with PT12 so much but as I use it to play music from my computer through the monitors,...
