what benefit going from 8.0 to 8.04 on xp

What is the benefit from going from 8.0 to 8.04 ? Is it optimized to run more effecient on quad processors ? Does it use ram more effeciently ? I really want to be conviced why I should upgrade...

I ask this question because i dont know if 8.03 is an upgrade or just a maintenance release? What benefit is it to use 8.03 instead of 8.0 ?

To get the right fader to work on a stereo trk with faderport, all you have to do is hold down shift button and then you can control right pan.

The reason why I ask this question is because protools le 8.0 seems to run more effecient on 2 cores than 4 cores. I get more buffer errors when I use 4 cores than 2 at 85% cpu usage in protools...

albe1952. To answer your question why switch from protools if i go to mac. Why would i keep on investing in protools le when i can get the full blown logic without limitations unlike protools le....

Shan i dont mind paying for the software. but for pete sake make the software the same and just charge like cubse or logic charge for their daw. To be honest with you I think Im wasting my time...
