Well you could always buy the MUCH cheaper, PCI-PCIe Expansion chassis from Magma, It will set you back about 1500 but that is MUCH cheaper then upgrading all your cards.

Does the Ptools Mojo support Avid HD codecs? We are on a HD show here, being able to have the avid just export a AAF with Video which would then open no problem on a Ptools-Mojo would be great!

Good question, but I would add, why do we PAY to be Beta Testers? That is the real question. Paying upgrade fees and testing software not ready for prime time.

Unfortunately Digidesign realizes that some of its more vocal customers are such Digi Fanboys/girls who do not mind paying $199 for a software upgrade October 25 and then having to pay $80 less then...

Thanks for the reply. I did talk to my dealer, they had no idea that Digidesign was going to release the 7.3 just a couple weeks after they released 7.2 for $199 and then charge users who just paid...

Not even Apple requires someone who just purchased a $199 software product to have to pay an additional $80 dollars to upgrade within 35 days of purchase. I know this hurts the Digidesign fan club...

Ok, I just purchased 7.2 and now I am being told I have to pay $80 to purchase 7.3 even though it was less than 35 days ago? Let's see, ok I paid $199 for 7.0, then less than 10 months later I pay...
