I've genuinely never had a problem with an earlier version of PT e.g. 11 session opening on 12. I'm running 2 separate boots at the moment one for 11 one for 12 as I still haven't installed a few...

I have 12.2 on Yosemite, HDX and HD IO. It seems very stable even Slate VTM is stable on this and I had big issues back on 11 and early installs of that PI.

It's my understanding that the ADDA are identical but the PSU in the HD IO is superior, resulting in a fractional increase in quality.

You need to run the digitest application in the protools utilities folder.

Fire that up and from within it you can update the firmware to the latest version v121

I don't have a HD Native card...

The Briscati M7 really IS where its at if you want lush reverbs but is SO lush it isn't always the right reverb for all mixes but boy it's a "wow" unit.

I think the OMNI sounds amazing but it was someone at AVID that said this and they did say it was minor but it wasnt exactly the same due to the PSU so I thought it was worth...
