It's probably just its diet. If you find that its emissions raise your studio's ambient temperature too much or just simply offend your clients, try feeding it Beano. (http://www.beano.net/)

Another option you might consider trying...take the midiman drivers and add spaces before the names of the extension. This will force them to load earlier (Macs load extensions alphabetically). This...

I see in the docs that the 002 has internal effects that can be used in "stand alone" mode. What's the deal with these?
