as the title suggests, I am running (attempting anyway!) PT 10.3.9 (new install) on OSX 10.8.5 (new install) along with my old Digi 003.

PROBLEM SOLVED!

Thanks to my longtime Pro Tools master-geek, I've fixed the prob... I, ashamedly, missed one crucial plug-in upgrade: Music Production Toolkit... (I was sure i got that one!)

sunburst79: Thanks for your reply. As I mentioned, this whole thing started from upgrading! Meaning that I have upgraded all of my plugs... still no joy... even upgraded the 003 firmware... PT too...

Oh, and it was Battery 3, which had begun crashing my system totally, that prompted me to trawl the forums and see that my plugs were incompatible... and then start the laborious upgrade process...
