I'm trying to get a new box put together and I have a question.

Is the s2927 still a viable option?

If not, what other AMD dual socket...

What about the second one?

It's a little more reasonable. Plus it has 12 sata connectors.

It's a VGA duct.
I just took it out. I don't have a mobo yet anyway.

That's good to hear. Did you take that cpu vent duct that's in there out? There's no way these fans could fit underneath.

Yeah, I have been reading this whole thread. I have just been out of the loop for some time. My old 3500 has been running great. But now I'm thinking about building a new one. I got a sweet new case...

They don't seem to be listed on alot of sites.

If not, what is the next viable option?

Also, what kind of cpu fans are you guys using for the socket...
