Avid knows about this issue.
I have the exact same issue with buffer sizes 128 and lower.
256 and higher everything is fine.
And it is not just on H/W inserts, it is on recording audio as...

Well, maybe it is, but that is not the big problem.
The problem is that I have to set buffer size 256 or higher, regardless of unchecking it.
Otherwise recorded audio is late.

I just installed PT 12.6.1 to check if the issue I'm referring to in this post is fixed:

Hi,

When recording audio the recorded audio is late in the timeline by the same amount of the set buffer size.

So if the buffer size is 128, the recorded audio is 128 samples late, and if the ...

Hi,

When using up to much cloud storage it seems that I cant clear out space by clearing clips in the clip list.

The only way seems to save the project as session and then deleting the project...

I actually tested it with instrument tracks. :-)
Haven't tried it with routed to aux tracks. Will try that tomorrow.

I think the version was PT 11.0.2 that they fixed it.

I just want to give a little heads up about the workaround when putting the VI on a audio track.
It doesn't really work correctly because if you compare the multi-out VIīs against other audio...

I don't agree with you on this.
The delay doesn't get compensated for even with plugins that is causing only a small amount of delay.
Its just much harder to hear, but its there.

What i should have said was that if you just use superior or EZ drummer etc on a stereo instrument track you won't have any issues.

Yes it does.
I cannot test with Superior because I don't have that one.
But with EZ drummer as well as with NI Abbey roads the problem occurs in stereo instances.
