2 things come to mind:
1-the USB Power Management still needs to be checked that its disabled.
2-how about a screen shot of the configuration in Peripherals menu>midi controllers tab and check...

Is the Nucleus only connected via Ethernet? I thought it was a USB piece and was going to ask if you killed the Power Management feature on the USB ports?
