AVID are never going to take this bug seriously while there are people popping up on here saying, "Have you tried ticks mode?" Or worse still, "I tried ticks mode and that solved my problem."...

Yes that would chime with my experience as well - something about moving clips is definitely suspect.

ProTools definitely has sub-ticks, no "belief" necessary. Just zoom right in, draw a note, and then copy and move the note to the next step (1 sample). Two sounds will trigger, 1 sample apart, but...

So one problem is : the sub-ticks doesn’t show in the counter, and I would argue that this data needs to be displayed in order to be confident that the clip is where you think it is.

If you manually type in the length you want to copy/duplicate it works ok. Been like this forever or at least as long as I can remember.
