Ive had that issue with one kind of logitec Trackball and to fix it i just replaced the mouse and rebooted the console.

i think the mouse confuses the mouse driver in windows coz if you enter...

Save a defult show file with all the channel names/ plugins / output routing and recall it for each act.

I think that would be the best way as it will undo any of the weiredness you may have done...

I look after 6 Venue systems (2 SC48s on the way) and have never had a hard disc problem with mine OR systems we sub-hire.

I think like most things, if you maintain it properly you will be fine....

Im pretty sure replacement fans are in the D-show spares kit, along with PSUs HDs, faders, pot caps, screws ect.

While listening, try turning things off like lights/ air conditioning/ computer monitors ect.

Also, is the excess power cable wound up and possibly inducing?
