yes it works, but it takes about 5 seconds from opening preset popup to the selection of the item…

i first bought the wacom intuos pro m but switched to the smaller unit (s).
its enough space for me. i dont want to move my whole arm to get the cursor from on side to the other side of the screen....

ok, i found a way for PT HD users. its "TCE Edit to Timeline Selection" and can be found in the Edit menu.
seems like one has to enter 5 keyboard commands in order to make it work…

i just try to extend my pt10 keyboard workflow.
is it possible to make a selection in a clip by using the "+" and "-" keys? (in combination to a modifier key)

i finally made it!

i did it the john rambo way. i killed all files and folders with word "avid",
"pro tools" and "digidesign" i found on my hd. than reinstall and all worked fine.
