Well, now this "lovely" bug seem to be reintroduced in Pro Tools 2021.6... :mad:

It appears to be back on my fresh Catalina along with a fresh Pro Tools 2021.6 install.

Is this happening again...

I'm getting the bug here in omf's from Premiere all day, everyday! :-)

I don't think the omf file or where it comes from is the problem.
The problem lies within the function"create new tracks"....

This bug is still not fixed in 2020.9!

Kind of strange since they are fixing a lot of other issues with Import Session Data with pretty much every release.
Why not also fix this bug? :confused:

I discovered that the bug occurs when one or more tracks differ between the omf's.

When using Match Tracks and also need to CREATE NEW TRACK(S) from within the import session data-window.

I can confirm the Match tracks function in "Import Session Data" is broken since 2018.1 (on Mac - I don't know about the Windows versions).
Have the exact problem with the repeating bits of audio...

Do you have "Dynamic plugin processing" unticked in your Playback Engine settings?
If not, then try unticking that checkbox and see if Autotune works better.

This bug is not fixed in version 2018.3.

Seems I'm forced to keep using 12.8.3 where this problem still wasn't introduced.

Does anybody else care about this bug?

Hi John,

I have just done some more testing.
When importing the second omf, matching the tracks that are matching and just ignoring the tracks that differ (leaving them as "(none)") the import...

Hi,

PT HD 2018.1 is working great on my Mac system, but I have ran into one thing that seem to be a reproducible bug here.
It’s the ”Import Session Data” functions that seem to be somewhat broken...

Sorry! Bad terminology in my first post. I have edited it now for clarification.
It is just the left and right channel that flips.

I don't think there should be a need to transcode the video material since the file itself behaves as it should.
No slow-mo lags or stuttering, simply an added frame! :-)

BPM has been pretty much broken ever since MOTU released the AAX version.
I actually don't think it has ever worked in any version...
