i have found my problem.

it's a vst wraped plug in called tubebooster.

with only the digi plug ins the bounce is good.

so is this a plug in issue ?

should i take the plug ins out one at the time to see wich is the trable maker ?

ok, i just printed the mix by recording it to a new stereo track through an internal bus.

will that affect the quality of the mixdown in any way as opposed to bouncing to disk ?

errors on bouncing ?

i got some errors saying - reduce h/w buffer, then got errors saying - not enough h/w buffer...

the project is at 16 bit 44.1.

1 stereo track and 5 more mono tracks, some 5 aux input tracks...

the daw builder that built my rig does nothing but building daw for audio and picture editing.

he made most of the tweaks himself and then i did some of my own (xp stuff and services).
