So is the general consensus current Sonoma is “Safe”?

After all the time & effort I put in reverting to Ventura I’m reluctant to open myself up to that again.

So I had a PT Studio Sub have since reverted to an Artist Sub.
When I check I see the dialog below - offering to upgrade to Studio Perpetual for $199. Am I reading that correctly?

I built a bootable Ventura drive - did a “erase all contents and settings” - and reloaded *everything*.

I’m happy to report Pro Tools 2024.3 is working great on Ventura.

Reverting to 14.3 on Apple Silicon is a massive PITA.

I agree re: PT vs Logic - but Pro Tools won me over when they introduced the Eleven Rack and it's fantastic integration with PT - since deprecated sadly.

I've gone back-and-forth: rosetta / native - 2024.3, 2023.12 etc.
I have NOT tried using a different audio interface. That part of my setup hasn't changed in years so it didn't occur to me to rule...

I still use Eleven MKII as my primary amp sim in every session.
I try different cab sim plugins too but have always fallen back to the baked-in stuff. They got so many things right with Eleven.

I now use Omnisphere as my (nearly) do-everything non-percussion VI.
But it feels far more complicated & "heavy" than Structure.
Oh well. Time's change.
