just did a complete uninstall.. and reinstall.. trash prefs... and its seemed to help.. was able to run 18 mono tracks.. do some elastic time warp.. loaded a bunch of Degidesign 1176 comps.. to see...

Hi,, Not this case.. just bought and installed 10k Raptor drive just for audio, protools resides on my SSD os. the 10k only has two small Protools projects and i still get the -9073 DAE error.....

running on PC.. Win 7 64bit. I have a 42" TV that i run for monitor plus a second 24" flat screen..

i can have 24 tracks on the monitor at once..
with the DM 4800 in Cubase i just touch...

glad to see you system up and running.. I am running the DM4800 for a few years now.. Cubase has been the main DAW for some time.. We just set up PT for clients that need to move...

all of MY drives are WD 7200 rpm drives... (not green) as mentioned i don't get any disk issues on same system running Cubase or Sonar x1..

Plus the Audio drives are separate drives.. NOT os ...

Same problem here.. running SATA II HDs.. 7200 rpm. and keep getting 9073 error... running audio on separate drive from OS.. and defragged.. changed all the buffers sizes.. nothing seems to work.. ...

trying to get my Pro tools screen to "follow" the selected channels on the DM.
In Cubase when you touch a fader, the screen will "jump" to that channel. (while out of range)

bummer.. back to square one. again.. played around yesterday to get the I/O buffers set.. was pretty happy with 20-30% CPU with whole list of UAD-2 plugs mixed in with native RTAS plugs.. fired up...

did a complete uninstall of both UAD-2 and protools 9. Reinstalled both clean.. and now they work.. yes! now tweaking the RTAS processor count.. any ideas about Hyper treading.. and core count.....
