Figured it out... disabling "Audio during fast forward/rewind" (preferences/operation) fixed the issue. Now I'm able to fast forward and rewind smoothly with the transport controls on the dock.

Ah yes, I see know, I don't normally use the Insert switch, I had the EQ switch pressed. Thanks!

S1 = Shift+Config, then page left and right to find preset (listed in OLED), push encoder knob to activate preset.

Is there a way to access my presets via the tablet? I would love to be able to quickly load up a preset from a plugin like Channel strip without needing to needing to use the mouse/trackball.

I did a clean uninstall of ProTools with the install disc, then reinstalled (v9.0.2 on 10.6.8) and so far all seems to be running fine again.
