Re: Very Strange CPU Performance Problems w/ some plugins (ReWire, Reason, Minibit)

However, the thing is, it was working...

Re: Reason bumps CPU usage to 100% / PT Loads plugins for a long time at launch

Thank you, Musicman691!

I'll try that and report back.

The funny thing about that particular plugin, is that I didn't even know it existed, and as far as I can tell, only that one shows up...

Reason bumps CPU usage to 100% / PT Loads plugins for a long time at launch

Reason via ReWire bumps CPU usage to 100%
&
PT Loads plugins for a long time at launch.

Both "problems" appeared suddenly out of nowhere.

(PT loading plugins for a long time isn't...

Re: What would you do? Want to update PT / have a mac with an OS not yet compatible.

I thought you couldn't downgrade.

And it just dawned on me that a "downgrade" and a "clean install" of an earlier version are two different things, and a clean install of an earlier version is...

Re: Mojave 10.14 install

Sorry. Stupid question, but where do I go if I only want to download the OS?
If you go through System Prefs and Updates, it will download and install, right?

Can you just log into the apple...

Re: Question: Frequency of PT Updates for Compatibility on the Newest Operating Syste

Am I understanding you correctly, you have 10.13.6 and you're gonna check if you can "downgrade"?

Re: Question: Frequency of PT Updates for Compatibility on the Newest Operating Syste

Re: Question: Frequency of PT Updates for Compatibility on the Newest Operating Syste

Thanks, Bob. I know, but since Avid has actually stated what the problem is - strangeness in lower buffer modes - I'm a bit reluctant to dive in right away since I do use very small buffers time to...
