I have El Capitan 10.11.2 and I am wondering if continuing to update is going to help compatibility with PT12. Or do I just continue to update PT12 and leave OS X where it is?

I have PT12. The version right before this newest update. I haven't seen an update for 12.4. Just this newest one to 12.3.1.260
